The third edition of Topps critically acclaimed Allen and Ginter set will be released in July of 2008. The 2008 Allen and Ginter boxes will once again have two insert cards, but with a new twist. In addition to the regular relic, autograph and printing plate cards, Topps will also insert some original Allen and Ginter cards from the 1800's! There will also be DNA cards this year featuring a strand of hair or other matter. Each DNA card is unique, numbered 1 of 1. The most interested DNA card looks to be a wooly mammoth rookie card! You will only have a shot at these unique, and extremely valuable DNA cards by purchasing 2008 Allen and Ginter boxes of the hobby variety. They will not be available in the retail version that you will find in stores. So pick up a few 2008 Allen and Ginter boxes and open some packs.
